在生命中，當你感覺受困──沒有成長、受到慾望的轟炸、枯燥無味、興趣索然、沒有樂趣時，你怎麼辦呢？
這兒有個解決的辦法：
感覺慷慨大方……現在，而不是明天
慷慨是精神的一種特質。王子和乞丐都可以有慷慨的感覺。當你感到慷慨大方時，你的生命即變得豐盛，充滿了慈悲與愛。
問：慷慨與感恩是一樣的嗎？
古儒吉：不一樣，感恩總是帶著自我的顧慮。你為何感恩呢？那是因為你擁有某樣東西，或你將獲得某樣東西。
慷慨是不受制於外在的情況。沒有可以讓你感覺慷慨。那是某種你自己必須做的事情。慷慨是一種意識狀態。慷慨並非一種行動，但卻總是以行動來表達。
問：那麼激情又如何？
古儒吉：激情顯示匱乏；不動心則是豐盛。然而有不動心，卻沒有慷慨使你以自己為核心，造成枯燥。
不要想那些你過去所做過的事，那只會帶給你作為者的心態。只要感覺慷慨即可。

困 惑 與 決 定

決定僅在困惑時才有必要，當沒有困惑時也沒有決定的必要。
假如你桌上有塊木頭與一塊餅乾，你不會決定吃什麼，不是嗎？決定永遠跟選擇有關而選擇永永遠是令人困惑的，決定越多，你就越加困惑，並在痛苦與快樂之間打轉。所以，所有的決定者都是困惑的。（笑聲）
你的內在有一個作為者，也有一個見證者，一個作為者或是困惑、或是果決，但見證者則只是觀察，並面帶笑容。
行動在沒有作為者時是自動自發的（沒有決定）。見證愈是在你的內在茁壯，你就愈是嬉笑愛玩與不受觸動，那時信任、信心、愛與喜悅就全在你內在與周遭展現。
你們現在是困惑、果決還是快樂的呢？
艾柏哈：困惑是個太強烈的措詞，選擇難道不是較貼切嗎?
爾密拉：老天已註定我們選擇就是困惑了。（眾人大笑）

信心：專注不二意識的本質
不管你對什麼有信心，千萬不要讓它成為一種認知的對象。對於你已有信心的東西，你並不需要去認知它。
假如你對神有信心，不要企圖去認知神。神與本我並非是認知的對象。而那種你將之視為認知之對象的，你無法對之有信心。
就像小孩相信媽媽一樣，小孩不會企圖去認知媽媽，他純粹只是信任媽媽。你無法把愛變成一種認知的對象。假如你試著要這樣做時，愛將會消失。
你欲想將自己已經相信的當成認知的對象，那種想去認知的好奇心會阻礙信心。通常兩個已經相戀的人，他們並未拋除好奇心。好奇心就逐地腐蝕掉他們的信心與愛。
信心是無法解析的，知識是解析的，神、愛、睡眠和本我是超越理解的。假如你企圖分析，就會產生疑惑。一旦你把某事變成理解的對象時，分析就開始。
尼克：神對我們有信心嗎？
古儒吉：我不知道！！（笑聲，非常的不具分析性）
要知道神是否相信，你必須去分析，而在問這個問題時，你就給了神一個心智，而那是不存在的。
芭芭拉：人會有信心而不自覺嗎？
古儒吉：是的，人有信心。信心是鬆弛的、合一的意識之本質。
