最初吸引我擔當監獄更生課程的籌劃工作，是因為他們都是現成的參加者 : 禁閉在牢獄中，在完完全全格格不入的處境，有著很大潛質成為靜坐的「修士」。他們大多自詡是「社會渣滓」，帶著滿心的罪咎和絕望。向他們推廣生活的藝術技巧就象把污布投在一籃的乾淨衣裳裡，或者象在一潭死水中拖網捕魚。又或者象在沼澤爛地開墾花園。這工作很有挑戰性。這些人只有短暫的專注力，我們亦沒有明確的歩驟去做到成效，或者讓他們學到的得以維持。但讓我心生欣慰是在「凈化呼吸」後，當我看著他們的眼睛時，我所見到靈魂深處的浩瀚和含藏的無限可能性。他們臉上的笑容鼓舞著我，要我堅持下去。
在個人的層面，我的義工活動讓我察覺到服務活動在深度而精微的層面所帶來的轉化。我從小我走向一個開拓的自我。這個從「小」到「大」的過程，我領略到「從我是某某人，到我不是什麼人，到我是眾生」的智慧。我反覆的硺磨 在 I 階課程所學到的知識，把知識溶入生活中，讓我得以在知識中深化精進。
我的願景是看到生活的藝術課程畢業生不斷增加，亦希望看到千萬的他們能從心而發的為對方說 Jai Guru Dev。
